The work 'Long Ma' is the main mascot in the collection "Nguyen Hoof of the South" of DOHA JSC.
• Composed based on inspiration from Vietnamese historical traditions, culture and Eastern philosophy.
• The design of the majestic horse combines many national symbols: Dong Son bronze drum, blooming lotus flower, five-color clouds, deep scars - battle marks, war horse tassels..
Details on the work:
1. The blooming lotus flower is a symbol of the great intelligence and noble qualities of the Vietnamese people "using humanity to defeat cruelty", "using humanity to replace violence", "using morality to influence people's hearts".
2. The Dong Son bronze drum hidden in jade glaze is a reminder of the heroic character and spirit of the Vietnamese people in building and defending the country throughout history since the Lac Hong period.
3. The deep scar on the horse's eye is not a defect but a heroic mark of the warhorses that have fought in the battlefield, the profound beauty of silence and heroic sacrifice...
4. The warhorse tassels are designed to include:
• . 4 neck tassels remind us of the Faithfulness "One word, nine tripods, four horses are hard to chase".
• 5 shoulder tassels remind us of the strength of Unity "Five tigers, a noble family"
And the 3 tassels at the back remind us of Harmony like the harmony of Heaven - Earth - Human, the source of all Strength and Success.
5. The gilded horse's hooves among the five-colored clouds symbolize bold, fast steps and the aspiration to reach a bright future.
6. The horse's posture facing the right is a symbol according to Eastern philosophy: upholding ideals, overcoming all obstacles, moving forward - moving towards glory.
Main message: The work Long Ma is the image of a majestic war horse of Vietnam through more than 4000 years of ups and downs in history, a symbol of the crystallization of intelligence, courage, character and noble qualities of the Vietnamese people, the Vietnamese nation: Humane but Brave; Flexible but Steadfast, Gentle but Haughty Forever.
